                              Role of women in society

Women’s play a vital role in society. Women are the integral part of our society and can’t be neglected due to their support in every aspect of life. Islam give freedom to women to work in social activities in Islam has given them a great shape in the form of mother, sister, daughter and wife. The population of women in Pakistan is above 50% but take part in every physical and mental activity. Almost all the sector of life like Education, Workshops, Shopping Malls, Banks, IT fields etc. they have a significant status in society.

PIA pilot’s sisters make history by flying Boeing planes concurrently, when PIA is usually embroiled in controversies but two sister brought laurels to the national carrier by operating two flights at the same time. Maryam Masood and Erum Masood made history for Pakistan.

But still women face many barriers and bias whether it is academically, socially or professionally. They are always underrated by most of the men even If they work very hard to make their mark in the society. This is maybe because successful women often make men feel demoralized. Today women are making a much faster progress than men .Many women now earn half of the family income and more than half in lower income families. According to act 40% of the wives now out earn their husbands. And the gender gap is closing rapidly. Education is a major reason why women especially minority women, are pursuing higher education at much greater rates than men.

Problems faced by today's women in Pakistan

Pakistani women’s are facing many problems in their everyday life. They are being abased and humiliated in many aspects of life .women's should have equal rights to men. Most women's in Pakistan are uneducated. Being uneducated they have no knowledge about their rights in society. Women’s should be taught basic self defense stance's so in case  they can defend them self's.
Women are a solution to poverty they have the potential to bring about economic and social change that transforms lives. Everyone has their own perspective and can contribute to the society in different ways that is why it is important to educate women. In spite of having such an importance, women empowerment and more importantly education, some communities do not expect or allow girls to attend schools. Women’s education is a fundamental right of every citizen but gender discrepancies still exist in the educational sector. Patriarchal values heavily govern the social structure in the society. Specifically, a woman is expected to take care of the home as wife and mother, whereas the male dominates outside the home as a breadwinner. Men and women are conceptually segregated into two distinct worlds. The household resources are allocated in the favor of sons due to their role in society outside the home. Therefore, education for boys is prioritized over girls, because it is perceived that boys must be equipped with educational skills to compete for resources in the public arena; while girls have to specialize in domestic skills to be good mothers and wives. Hence, education is not perceived as being important for girls.

Women have proved their stupendous presence in almost every field. They are strong, smart, technically competent and emotionally variant in comparison to their male counterparts. As such they are rightly called the new age corporate women. But despite achieving such huge laurels, women still face many obstacles in their work place. Gender bias and sexual harassment are not just what we are taking about but there are few more issues that are big hurdles for women to grow high up in the corporate scene. Gender bias is a challenge that many women experience at their work place. Though we can say that corporate offices are bridging the gender gap slowly, private institutions and government offices are still way far behind. Jobs that require frequent travel, physical exertion etc. are still open for men only as they are considered more eligible than women. Many companies while hiring women employees ask them openly about their marriage as they cannot afford the maternity leaves and other flexibility perks. One must understand that women are blessed with the opportunity to bring another soul into this world and this factor must not be a hindrance for their growth and progress.

                                    Conclusion

Challenges are everywhere. Pushing oneself out of their comfort zone and trying something new and good is the challenge that one can impose on himself. More challenges one faces in life, his achievements and memories increase manifolds. Instead of dreading the challenges if one learns to treat challenges as stepping stones of success they will hardly feel its magnitude. Women have to break the soft sweet image in order to succeed in their work endeavor. Being as fierce, stable and aggressive as a lioness and working towards her goals without any distraction makes a woman achieve her goal with precision.
According to my point of view a women should be the one who lifts other women. A little support can go a very long way in someone's life  women who does not require validation from anyone is the most feared individual on planet. Women is very diligent talk to them with love and politeness. Pay gratitude to women’s because it is the single most important ingredient to  living a successful and fulfilled life. Respect them and  motivate them.
